Monday

My Own Worst Enemy.  We have been pleasantly surprised by this new show from NBC.  It actually has a plot, good acting, and keeps us guessing.  In other words, it is the opposite of Knight Rider  NBC, 10pm EST.

Tuesday

Eli Stone.  This is a whimsical show that, although a little Judeo-Christian preachy, is fun to watch.  This episode has Scientology diva Katie Holmes as Eli’s love interest.   We guess the question is who is nuttier, Eli or Katie?  ABC, 10pm EST.

Wednesday

Pushing Daisies. We feel like this is quirky ABC show week.  In this episode, a popular escort is murdered and it looks like the socially awkward David Arquette is to blame.  Talk about type-casting.  ABC, 8pm EST.

Thursday

Ugly Betty.  Still one of the most clever shows on television.  This episode, Lesbian Lindsay Lohan makes another appearance as Betty’s high school nemesis turned friend.  We vow that this is the last episode with Lohan that we will tout, even on Ugly Betty.  ABC, 8pm EST.

Friday

Everybody Hates Chris. One of the most underrated shows on television.  Truly a throw back to the family sitcoms.  Plus it will hold us over until Battlestar and/or Doctor Who come back.  The CW, 8pm EST.

Saturday

Sports Night (DVD). Poptimal recommends that you take some time off and celebrate the 10th anniversary of this legendary series brought to you by Aaron Sorkin, pre-West Wing.  It stars Felicity Huffman, Robert Guillaume, William H. Macy, and Peter Krause.  If you want to see TV writing at its best, buy or rent this DVD set.  Writer Alana D swears by it.

Sunday

Mad Men (Season finale). We are sorry to see that the season is already over but we look forward to next year.  Check out this last look at the sexist, racist, and homonoya decade of New York.  AMC, 10pm EST.
