Monday

Heroes.  Heroes is a hit or miss each week.  We predict this one is hit.  What does Peter’s dad want?  Whose team are Peter and Sylar on?  These questions will probably not be answered in this episode, but at least Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) is back on the show.  NBC, 9pm EST.

Tuesday

It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. An old school favorite.  All parents need to watch this with their kids and older kids need to watch this to feel young.  Out of all the Charlie Browns in the world . . . he is the Charlie Brownest.  Hey . . . that’s kind of racist. ABC, 8pm EST.

Wednesday

America’s Next Top Model. The models head off to Amsterdam.  Now Tyra can be annoying and narcissistic on two continents.  We should make a trade . . . Tyra for Madonna (w/o the British Accent).  The CW, 8pm EST.

Thursday

30 Rock (Season Premiere).  One of the most outwardly funny shows on television.  The Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, and Tracy Morgan sandwich is always filling.  We are a bit concerned that every lame celebrity is trying to get on the show to restart his or her career.  Let’s see if there are any Palin references in the first episode.  NBC, 9:30pm EST.

Friday

Ghost Whisperer. We typically do not watch this show but what the hell it’s Halloween.  Plus we might see a super hot and scared Jennifer Love Hewitt in something other than I Know (still know) What You Did Last Summer. CBS, 8pm EST.

Saturday

Primeval (Season Finale). It is not policy, rather pleasure to snub British shows that do not start with Doctor or end with -wood.  But this show is worth the time to check out.  This weekend take a trip across the pond for the season finale.  BBC America, 9pm EST.

Sunday

Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror. We can’t believe it ourselves, but this is the 19th edition of the beloved Simpson’s special.  This year they even do a parody of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.  Fox, 8pm EST.
