House: The Secret Lives of Teen Girls

Pack your bags, everybody! House is going on a little trip outside of Princeton Plainsboro this week, and we’re all going along for the ride.
Before he can go, however, let’s meet the patient of the week. Jordon is your typical sixteen year old waiting to get into a rock concert. Jordon proves to be quite the convincing liar and manages to bypass the line by saying she’s the DJ’s personal assistant. What we can only imagine to be a crazy night ensues…
Wilson announces he’s off to a medical conference and assumes House will come with him (since they’re roomies and all). House turns him down at first, but once he finds out Cuddy is coming also, he changes his mind.
Sidenote: I have no problem with whatever Cuddy decides to wear and Houses witty metaphors for her breasts, but I felt like this latest shirt she was wearing was purposefully low-cut. There’s a difference between showing some cleavage to attract male attention and then the kind where it’s just obnoxious and too much. You really couldn’t blame House for staring this time around.
Anyways, House leaves the team – still comprised of our original trio – to solve Jordan’s case. Jordan ends up in the hospital after her hands and feet begin swelling to epic proportions and she passes out. It turns out what we might think had been a crazy night was really nothing more than one major geek fest. Jordan and her friend, Phoebe, are apparently really big comic book fans. Keener, the creator of this comic book series, also known as GOD to these girls, was at the concert last night. How did they find out? From Keener’s Twitter! To hear Twitter being mentioned on House, of all shows, really caught me off guard. I expected some sort of snarky comment from one of the characters, but alas that never came.
At the medical conference, House has two things to deal with: the first is how to win over Cuddy. For good, hopefully. At an 80’s themed party with House dressed as a Founding Father (1980’s not 1780’s!), House manages to snag Cuddy for a dance. It’s great because we get a lot of back story between the two. We learn about some of their run-ins at medical school, and House admits that he lost the will to call Cuddy after he was expelled from the school although he never really got over her. This bit of news shocks Cuddy for one reason or another and leaves our Founding Father all alone on the dance floor.
Second – Wilson is about to give a controversial lecture on euthanasia and House reckons it will surely be the end of Wilson’s career. Being the noble friend that he is, House drugs Wilson, steals his pants, and presents the lecture as his own under a pseudo name. Wilson is understandably furious at first, but then understands House’s intentions and forgives him. He might’ve understood House’s intentions, but I sure didn’t. Maybe it’s time for a good House/Wilson fight?
The patient this week, I felt, really took a back seat and her story wasn’t all that interesting. As un all good House episodes, she was treated for her disease after House has a breakthrough moment on the case all the way from the medical conference.
House decides to pay Cuddy a visit and makes amends. He’s in for a big surprise, though: PI Lucas is shacking up with Cuddy! You know, the entertaining Private Investigator from last season? He’s baaaaaaaaack. Oh, I should properly also mention that Cuddy’s baby decides to make an appearance in this episode. It’s nice to have that visual reminder that she does exist.
Finally, in the Chase/Cameron department, the duo is still going through marital woes. However, Chase finally admits to Cameron what he did to Dibala. And fade to black!
