Casey was the first contestant of the night to utilize this style, however, so it stood out more among the "showier" performances preceding him. Personally, I have no problem whatsoever with this -- I certainly don't need a Broadway revue with every song. I like that Casey, Lee and Crystal kept it simple, merely necessitating the use for their voice and instrument. It's a refreshing change of pace from some of the more ostentatious attempts (some more successful than others, ha).
