White Collar: Top Ten Reasons to Watch

Well, my fellow White Collar fans, we are inching closer to the premiere of the second season. With only a week to go, my anticipation for the sophomore season of White Collar has been growing and growing. But soon, all the waiting will pay off and one of TV’s top-notch shows will return. Until then, check out my top ten reasons to watch White Collar.
10. White Collar is unique. In contrast to other typical crime shows, it focuses on upscale and elaborate white-collar crimes, like historical artifacts/artwork forgeries, stolen exotic diamonds and counterfeiting.
9. Tiffani Thiessen—she is perfect as the lovely, intelligent and successful businesswoman, Mrs. Elizabeth Burke. Plus, she flawlessly meshes with the boys and is often the voice of reason.
8. The show also has great cliffhangers, which always leave me wanting more.
7. Outstanding effort by Jeff Eastin (creator and executive producer), the writers and directors of White Collar to connect with fans on Twitter. They share a multitude of behind the scenes pictures and keep us updated on filming.
6. Mozzie, Mozzie, Mozzie! I love his quirky character and how Willie Garson brings him to life.
5. NYC always looks great in the show. White Collar captures the best of the city and its vibrant energy.
4. The superb chemistry of the ensemble cast—some of my favorite scenes from season one are when the fabulous foursome of Neal, Peter, Elizabeth and Mozzie are together.
3. The writing. It is punchy and witty. I love that in a somewhat serious scene there will be one sarcastic line that makes me laugh.
2. Have you seen Matt Bomer? Enough said.
1. To witness the unlikely friendship between one of the world’s best conmen and a devoted FBI agent. The show will always come back to the relationship between Neal and Peter.

“Have you seen Matt Bomer? Enough said.” I’m sure I’m not the first to admit that the magnetic charm of Matt Bomer just drew me into watching the show. Yes he is very easy on the eyes but it goes much farther than than He is such a dynamic actor that no matter what emotion he eludes you just can’t help but love the guy. He just takes over whatever scene he’s in, so much so that I have to watch it a second time to catch all the other stuff LOL! The interinterplay between Neal and Peter is lot’s of fun. Thief and law enforcement working in harmony, great chemistry together. The New York back shots taken for this show are amazing!!!

But I have to agree on the cast chemistry. They are solid together! I just read a Q&A with Tim and Matt, and they genuinely appear to like each other. It’s refreshing to see a cast who has fun together.

White Collar gives us something different to other crime procedurals, an understanding of the mind behind the crime. I love it and can’t wait for the Season 2 premiere.
I totally agree with the “Top 10″. There are probably more, but I definitely am a HUGE fan and will be watching all the repeats on Monday to get ready for the premier on Tuesday. I can’t wait. Number 2 should have been Number 1. He looks MMMMMMM!! Tim DeKay looks just as yummy!! The whole cast, the story lines, etc. GO WHITE COLLAR! SEASON 2 YEAH!! FINALLY!

To be honest, that was why I first watched the show, but then I became hooked for the other reasons.
I really Love White Collar..The first season was marvellous..And it has been an action packed show..The deadly duo of Neal, Peter nd Elizabeth has really caught eyes..Really lookng forward to d new season

I am very happy that you mentioned Peter’s name along with Neal’s. I *really*really* am. However, it would have been nice if you had mentioned Tim DeKay himself as also being a reason to watch White Collar. Some of us ladies in the “mature female viewer” demographic adore Tim to pieces.
