Oh Becky! Supernatural’s number one fan makes a big return this week, as she becomes Mrs. Sam Winchester via a love potion given to her by a crossroads demon.

During the Winchester’s annual pilgrimage to Vegas, Sam decides to go off by himself camping in the desert while Dean sulks off at a strip bar (no surprise here). A waitress who is in graduate school (hence supporting herself through working at that particular establishment of course) chats with Dean who tells her that he has a friend who’s in town with his younger brother, but the younger brother is really messed up and he’s waiting for the other shoe to drop, except it hasn’t.

Suddenly he gets a text message from Sam telling him to head to the Little Wedding Chapel and to wear a suit. When he gets there, instead of fighting off a demon or a creature, it turns out to be Becky Rosen. Suspiciously, Becky and Sam met while he was out on his own, they got to talking and then decided that they were in love and needed to get married right away. Dean see’s all sorts of wrong in this picture but Sam is convinced that he is super duper happy and that Becky is his soul mate.

He tells Dean they are heading to Delaware where Becky’s parents live and that he should stop by when he’s ready to be supportive.

Becky begins to show Sam off back at her hometown where her class reunion is happening and she gets to show off her new hubby. We get a sense of how sad Becky really is having been an outsider all her life and one can’t help but feel bad for her. People can be dreadfully cruel and she just wants someone to love her. Unfortunately her actions just screams Kathy Bates in Misery (hello bedroom scene!).

We meet Guy, Becky’s event planner friend and new crossroads demon. He’s been giving Becky free doses of love potion to drug Sam with. At the same time, people all over town are dying from freak accidents leading Dean to believe that something evil is going on in this sleepy Delaware town. Since Sam is working the case with Becky (with his and hers matching fake ids!), Dean is forced to work with Garth, hilariously portrayed by DJ Qualls.

Turns out Guy has been making deals with different locals and then having his intern Jackson prematurely end their lives via an accident so that he can collect their souls. Guy preys on Becky trying to convince her to make a deal with him, her soul for 25 years of Sam loving her completely.

Becky ends up doing the right thing and helps the Winchesters trap Guy instead. She even manages to save Sam’s life by killing Jackson. At the last second Crowley appears and reveals that he’s told his boys to stay clear of the Winchesters because he wants them to get rid of the Leviathans. He promises to negate all the contracts that Guy has made, severely reprimanding the Crossroads demon for his lack of integrity. This is Hell after all, who would do business with them if they didn’t honor their deals. Crowley tells the Winchesters that he’ll take Guy and continue to stay out of their way for now with no harm done.

Becky then signs the annulment papers and so ends her short-lived career as Mrs. Sam Winchester, her eleven twitter followers will be sorely disappointed for sure. You hope that she does find her true love, though Dean expressly tells Garth to stay away for his own good after all.

Interestingly though, she tells Sam that Chuck dumped her but where oh where could he be now and if they only knew who he really was.
