America’s Next Top Model All-Stars Review: The Top Three Revealed

We’re one week away from the season finale when Tyra crowns one lucky girl as the first ever all-star model. The competition has always been pretty fierce but now it’s really coming down to the wire and last week’s highlight episode reminded us just what each model is fighting for.
The ladies are still in Crete, which is where the ultimate finale will take place very soon, and were asked to take the magnificent scenery into consideration for their first mini-challenge. Since the winner of ANTM All-Stars will have a fashion blog on Vogue.it, it was time to test the writing skills of the potential winners. Nigel asked each girl to put together an ensemble from the array of clothing provided and find an inspiring location in town to write and take a few fashion friendly photos. The three-hour time crunch was the hardest part, especially for a very dyslexic Laura, whose personal blog back in the states is basically a virtual picture book. Of course, showing up to the same coastal location as Allison probably set her back a bit as well. While Lisa asked her driver take her to the location where he would “make love to his girlfriend”, Angelea had her driver find the best spot in Crete to be mugged in to reflect her urban roots. Once the timer stopped, Nigel sent the amateur blogs to the Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani to be critiqued and to decide a winner. Angelea’s constant harping on her hard upbringing finally paid off and won her a challenge- the first ever of her all-star career. Being the semi-challenge winner had its sweet rewards which included a trip back to Crete for two at the Blue Palace Resort and Spa.
That night’s Tyra mail teased the ladies on finding their “smize” and the next morning they were introduced to a new motion-based editorial challenge. If you follow the many accomplishments of Miss Tyra Banks, then you might be familiar with her fiction novel Modelland about an elite modeling school high on a mountain, a sort of Hogwarts of fashion if you will, complete with girls turning into black cats and filled with awkward growing pains. To have her fantasy written down on paper is not enough and it was time to bring the words to life with each model portraying scenes from the story. The two-day shoot is absolutely the biggest challenge this season. Half of the shoot was to be judged this week, sending one girl home, and the second half is to be judged the following week at the finale, so if there were ever a time to give it what you got, this would be it!
Each girl had a chance to fit into their version of the main character, Tookie, with a little blood here for Allison, a little whip cream there for Laura, and a lot of warrior shouting for Lisa. Day one was all well and good but day two of the shoot was even better. Male model superstar Tyson Beckford co-starred with the ladies and was responsible for practically melting Angelea into the floor with his hot-as-fire physique. Once everyone was calmed down, the models finished the day’s shoot and ended with individual “reveal” shots. The purpose was for next week’s finale when the cycle winner would be announced through the photos taken on this very day.
This week’s judging panel process was like no other from the previous weeks. Although the doe-eyed Allison is my absolute favorite and personal pick for an all-star title, I think all of the models went above and beyond this week making it that much harder to cut one of them loose. With the help of Tyson, the crew went through the first section of editorial footage as a whole and then looked at each Tookie individually. When the ladies were asked to await their fates outside of the panel room, the judges went into full crazy mode. There were arguments, reasoning, and indecisiveness the likes of which I haven’t witnessed in Top Model history yet. You know it’s bad when the show’s producers have to pressure you to just pick someone already because an hour and a half has already gone by. So who would be the ANTM top three finalists? Best performance went to Lisa with no surprise and the runner up spot went to a very lucky Angelea. Allison and Laura were left in the bottom two which had me extremely nervous for both of them, but more for Allison. I was able to breathe a sigh of relief, however, when Allison just barely snatched up the third finalist spot and left Laura all alone on the runway. Laura showed so much personality, drive, and commitment all season but it just couldn’t compete this week with the rest of her competition.

Idk why people have to talk about the girls on antm. Yall talk so bad about them, so how bout shut up cause I’m sure you couldnt do any better than them. If they made it this far apparently they do have talent.
Come on guys..let’s not say bad words to any of them bec aside from being an ANTM contestant, we do not know their real life. We even do not know half of who they are so we don’t have any rights to say anything bad to them. We don’t know what they went through before joining ANTM. Everyone of them deserves to win bec they strive hard to be where they are right now. Guys, let’s just cheer for them and hope them all the best. =)

I think you all need to learn spelling and grammar first, then proofread your comments! Geez, who can make sense out of them… And the foul language should be out… Disgusting language for some of you! This program was a total joke… Except for Allison and Laura and possibly Shannon, these were all the worst people of previous seasons. I couldn’t watch….

Seriously? How many chances does Angelea actually need? She basically came back three times, and been in many, many, MANY bottom two’s. Tyra would be a complete idiot to pull such an unfair trick like this against the other girls. She’s a horrible role model for ANY girl. Urgh can’t stand that bitch. I would rather have Lisa win this cycle (and I can’t stand that bitch either). Allison ftw
yah all are very uneducated…u dont know wats the real meaning of all stars…allison is the ultimate star of ANTM season 17…fuck u all….ur not accurate in english speaking and constructions of words…go ahead and study harder,..
Sorry but I don’t think Lisa deserves to be in the final. I think Laura was set up to get canned, by having her using props that would show her in sexy poses that the judges didn’t want. Angelea was okay but she is a ticking time bomb.

It is heartbreaking to see so many people against one person. It just goes to show you were people hearts are. I have seen so many negative comments about “Angelea” it’s just sad. I think she deserves a chance just like the other models selected. Apparently she has something worth while to offer she is in the top three. So what she has been in the bottom several times. This show is about BRANDING not modeling. I just say this about Angelea…I like her “716 SWAGGER”.
I am cheering Angelea to win the allstar competition, yes that’s right! I agree with the above comment, just because she is not a white girl from baldwin or beverly hills, doesnt mean she does not deserve to win!!! Even if she don’t win, she is a winner anyway and will be recognized by someone to sign her for a successful modeling career. Angelea looks like an allstar model and definately has the skills to hold up in the modeling industry. All you haters need to get real. I personally don’t care for Lisa, she do too much. I know they will win quite a bit, but Lisa you don’t know that you will win this competition, all of the other girls want to win just like you. Allison is too weird to me, the only thing she has going is her eyes. The judges has eliminated many models because they didn’t have personality, and Allison don’t have personality, if it wasn’t for her eyes, she would’ve last this long in the competition. Angelea don’t worry about what people are saying, you know you have what it takes, win this for your viewers!!!
How can you say Angelea has no class? She obviously is educated becuase she is the best writer out of all them. Just because she doesnt act like a white girl from suburbia doesnt mean she does not deserve to win. She is proud of the fact that she is ‘ghetto’ and there’s nothing wrong with that, it just means you basically didnt grow up with a silver spoon in your mouth.
And you call her getting upset and crying ‘breakdowns’, atleast she isnt guarded like tons of other girls from the hood. Like she says, you dont know her backstory and unless you grew up in those circumstances you just won’t understand. Plus, out of all them she looks the most like a model. (Lisa looks about 40 and Allison’s beauty relies solely on her eyes). Im really sad to see Laura go, though. I honestly feel like they kicked her out for nothing. A week a go they were complaining about her being too sexy and untrue to her character, now they kick her out because they dont think she cant be anything other than ‘sweet’?!!
I do not like Lisa And hope that she do not win she is so annoying and she don’t take anything serious Allison I don’t really care for her either she is so weird wish Laura had made it in the final three Angelea I like a lot I don’t think she is ghetto she have had a hard life and she is so use to people trying to bring her down and she feel like she always have to defend herself for that reason I hope she win cause she really do deserve it more then any of the others.
i agree angelina is a disaster! she has no class, she constantly breaks down… she is way to ghetto and unstable. Like Lisa said: she would never survive in the modelling industry. I hope either lisa or allison win they both deserve it!!!
