Matthew Turnier

Matthew is a recent graduate from Haverford College in Philadelphia (A small Quaker liberal arts school that runs on an Honor Code is the best way to categorize the school).  At Haverford he studied political science and focused a lot of his time towards playing on the varsity lacrosse team.  He grew up on Long Island, but recently moved to the Washington D.C. area after graduation.  After being victimized by the economic downturn he decided to tone down the search for a career in business and thought that writing might be something both interesting and fun (especially pop culture since there is nothing like heading out to the local movie theatre – even if his dad is the only one who wants to go with me – or hitting a packed concert).  He also figures that he should put to use the time endured having to write a 70 page thesis before graduating.  He is also hoping to either phase out or have an excuse for some of the terrible television that he watches (Those shows that when someone comes in the room I quickly hit the Last button on the remote being too embarrassed to be seen watching them).
