President & Founder. Zuberi B. Williams grew up in “Chuck”County, MD, and then ventured south-west, where he earned his business degree from TCU’s Neeley School of Business. Along the way, Zu learned that “there are a lot of good people out there, with great ideas, but few who have the guts to do anything about it.” After college – where he came perilously close to becoming a slow talkin’ Texan – Zu ambled back east to earn an MBA degree from American University’s Kogod School of Business.

Manager of TV Content. A.Yang is the most exacting and mysterious member of the team. She is brilliant at keeping up with the break-neck pace of weekly television recaps and reviews and no one can figure out how she does it. We think she may follow the tenet that “sleep is for the weak.” In fact, we can’t even pin her down to get a picture of her.

Manager of Movie Content. Jamal Henry is a native New Yorker but also lived a good portion of his youth in Jackson, Mississippi. He has master degrees in everything from Computer Science to International Relations; thus, we are trying to find out why he is still a Buffalo Bills fan. As a child of the 80s he absolutely loves Teen Angst and Sci-Fi, requiring just the right balance of sarcasm and cheese to ‘rot your mind.’

Keith Robinson’s friends and family who read his sharp tongued commentary on pop culture phenomena may call him a hater . . . but we know that all he expects is for a movie to have a compelling story, top notch acting, and be worth the $10 it costs to see it. Senior Editor. Alana D. was once asked by a former boss who was simutaneously a marathon runner, amateur baker, and charity volunteer “What do you do in your spare time?” to which she proudly responded “I watch a very, very large amount of television.” Maybe it was those years of being the only child of divorced parents, maybe it was because there was little else to do in Detroit (safely) after dark, or maybe it’s because she can’t forsake the medium that brought a young girl the image of Jack Tripper trying desperately not to fall off a hammock; either way, Poptimal is glad she watches a very, very large amount of television.

Keshvar follows dozens of shows every week, and when she’s not cursing Megavideo for cutting her off after 72 minutes, she’s taking advantage of her dad’s Netflix account to watch anything and everything on Instant Play.

Editor. Bilal Mian is a production major at Rutgers Newark. He aspires to become a film editor. It seems weird to many, but sitting down and editing video has always brought him a strange calm. We guess it has to do with the feeling of putting together something that he has had hours spent on it.
