(a.k.a. the “Poptimal League of America”)

President & Founder. Zuberi B. Williams grew up in “Chuck”County, MD, and then ventured south-west, where he earned his business degree from TCU’s Neeley School of Business.  Along the way, Zu learned that “there are a lot of good people out there, with great ideas, but few who have the guts to do anything about it.” After college - where he came perilously close to becoming a slow talkin’ Texan - Zu ambled back east to earn an MBA degree from American University’s Kogod School of Business.

After helping his clients start and run successful businesses, Zu thought it was time to transfer his love of pop culture into a successful recommendation website.  Starting from scratch, and with help from his friends & family, he willed the formation of Poptimal LLC.  His motto is that where there is a Williams, there is a way.

Senior Manager of Movie Content. Keith Robinson is cool, calm, and collected.  But don’t let that fool you, he is one of the fastest up-and-coming pop culture bloggers out there today.  In 2007, he founded Invisible Blog and lead the site to averaging roughly 1500 unique hits per month.  Robinson is a native of Atlanta, GA.

His friends and family who read his sharp tongued commentary on pop culture phenomena may call him a hater . . . but we know that all he expects is for a movie to have a compelling story, top notch acting, and be worth the $10 it costs to see it.  Of course, we may be wrong and he is just a hater in disguise.  In any event, he brings his experience and levity to the Team.

Senior Manager of Television Content. A. Yang is the most exacting and mysterious member of the team.  She is brilliant at keeping up with the break-neck pace of weekly television recaps and reviews and no one can figure out how she does it.  We think she may follow the tenet that “sleep is for the weak.”  In fact, we can’t even pin her down to get a picture of her.

A native of Connecticut, her interest in pop culture started early on.  She is queen of quality management and brings those skills to us.
