Jaar is a native of Paris, France.  She is the youngest member of the Poptimal.com team and is currently an undergraduate majoring in journalism and minoring in French.  She chides herself for spending far too much time reading up on pop culture and getting into debates over why Chuck Bass is the most flawed character on TV.

Jaar has been on the Internet scene since her father allowed her to set up an AOL Kids account back in the good ol’ days. She developed a passion for blogging and web development through her work as a site manager at RupertGrint.net, a fan site dedicated to following the British actor that plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movie franchise. Throughout the years, she helped RupertGrint.net become the Internet’s leading site for the actor.

Currently, she lives in the Washington, D.C. metro area and has been enjoying the growing film scene in the city…despite not being cast as an extra in Transformers 3.  No grudges here!
