Mighel Jackson

The son of former British subjects obsessed with Quincy Jones’ little known side-project “Off the Wall”, Mighel was forced to hone his pop-culture perspicacity in the long shadow cast by his Americanized namesake. After toiling in obscurity on the hard-scrabble dirt roads of Southern Maryland, Mighel’s entertainment dreams were dashed forever when he was diagnosed with a vicious incurable case of glossophobia-induced hyperhidrosis at age 5.

Undeterred, Mighel headed into the big city to pursue a decidedly lower profile existence, studying civil engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Feeling unfulfilled, however, Mighel quickly switched his major to the unpublicized amalgam of Anime, Kurosawa, Hi-Fi Audio, Fast Cars, Graphic Novels, Video Games, British Comedies, Photography and The Sartorialist known as a Master of the Universe degree. He has since brought his pioneering efforts to Poptimal.com’s team of writers, secretly diverting site resources to his self-promotion.
