There is a certain kind of disappointment that can only be experienced in a movie theater. It usually comes after the first half of the movie where a viewer might think to him/herself. “Hey, this movie isn’t half bad.” Shortly after that thought the movie spirals downward towards mediocrity, with an ending that can’t arrive soon enough. I had this experience with Vanishing On 7th Street.
A solid grade of B for this entertaining sci-fi flick.
