Henry Joins Poptimal.com: DC’s Pop Culture Gurus Strengthen Movie Review Presence

Washington, D.C. Metro – October 13, 2009 – Poptimal.com continues to ascend into the DC’s pop culture elite by adding movie swami Jamal Henry to its management arsenal. Henry replaces Keith Robinson, who has now assumed the role of Managing Editor for the website, as Manager of Movie Content.
Henry is a native New Yorker but also spent a large portion of his youth in Jackson, Mississippi. During college, he lived in Europe for a brief stint during which time he was exposed to the global cinema scene. However, he admits that he will always be a child of the 80’s and as such, absolutely loves Teen Angst and Sci-Fi media that provides the right balance of sarcasm and cheese to “rot your mind.”
Editor-in-Chief of Poptimal.com, Zuberi Williams, stated: “We are excited about having Jamal on board. Anyone who speaks with him realizes in a matter of minutes that Jamal is a movie aficionado. Henry is a native New Yorker but also lived a good portion of his youth in Jackson, Mississippi. He has master degrees in everything from Computer Science to International Relations; thus, we are trying to find out why he is still a Buffalo Bills fan. As a child of the 80s he absolutely loves Teen Angst and Sci-Fi, requiring just the right balance of sarcasm and cheese to ‘rot your mind’. Not shy about his love of movies, Henry states:
“I think that movies’ primary goals should be to entertain; if they fail to accomplish this then no one will care what else they are trying to say . . . If you can’t make fun and laugh at a really bad ‘B’ movie (think Howling 7) while at the same time have the ability to appreciate quality acting in a movie like Crash then you clearly don’t go to the movies every week like me.”

Invisible Blog Founder Joins Upstart Pop Culture Gurus Poptimal.com
Washington, D.C. Metro – September 4, 2008 – Poptimal continues its startling growth by adding key experience to its management team. Invisible Blog founder and owner Keith Robinson joins the Poptimal Team and will lead its Movie review division, working closely with its Featured Writers nationwide.
Poptimal.com is a user driven website that provides reviews on pop culture phenomena. The company was started by a team of professionals who were tired of reading reviews from reviewers with whom they had nothing in common. As such, Poptimal strives to provide its readers with television and movie reviews from people like them. Poptimal’s motto is Pop Culture Reviews From People Like You. Today, Poptimal’s content is provided by some of the best and brightest pop culture gurus on the Internet today. In August, only its second month of operation, Poptimal registered over 1,200 unique visitors and averaged 75 hits per day.
Zuberi Williams, President of Poptimal LLC stated, “Poptimal is really excited to have [Robinson] join the team. He brings authentic writing skills and management experience to the Company. Robinson is a native of Atlanta, GA. He holds degrees in both electrical engineering and law. An avid pop culture writer, Robinson founded InvisibleBlog.com in 2007. Since that time, Robinson led his company to reach 1500 unique hits per month.

Robinson currently resides in Virginia, with his wife and his nine (9) month old son.
