NBC’s Best Friends Forever is a promising new single-cam sitcom conceived and produced by a pair of real-life inseparables. Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham (as Jessica and Lennon, respectively) portray longtime cohorts and former roommates whose bond supersedes most other concerns. When Jessica’s marriage ends abruptly, she must bunk with Lennon and her live-in boyfriend (Luka Jones as Joe); the result is a blend of situational hijinks and pathos reminiscent of Laverne & Shirley.
